Education

By drawing on the diverse global health faculty at the U of O and connections with neighboring global health institutions, including OSU and OHSU, the University of Oregon Center for Global Health is able to offer a unique interdisciplinary educational path that can be fit to individual student interests within the global health field. Courses pertaining to global health studies can be found in Anthropology, Biology, Economics, Human Physiology, International Studies, Political Science/Governance, Psychology, and several other academic disciplines here. Live and eLearning courses will become available soon.

The Center for Global Health also promotes experiential learning as a tool for successful professional development. This is achieved through local internships and practica opportunities, faculty assisted research positions, and global health study abroad programs, which are offered in partnership with UO’s Global Education Oregon office.
